Do announced hotels have a Chrono Score?+
No. A Chrono Score measures freshness of an operating hotel. A hotel that hasn't opened yet has nothing to rate, so it gets no score — only a sourced opening date. Its score is assigned once it opens.
Why track hotels before they open?+
Guests can plan around a brand-new opening, and suppliers, contractors and operators can see the pipeline early. An upcoming opening today is a hotel we'll track for its whole life — opening, then every future renovation.
How reliable are announced opening dates?+
Announced dates can slip. We show the date exactly as a public source states it, with the source linked, and update it as the plan changes.
